A UK retailer ordered 120 Queen-size gas-lift storage beds — white velvet, diamond-tufted headboard, LED strip. I checked every carton: packaging intact, velvet unscuffed, hardware bags sealed and labelled.

Then I had the factory assemble one full unit on the floor. The gas-lift struts lifted smooth and held position — but the side-rail bolts required excessive force, and the bracket edges caught hands during alignment. On a flat-pack bed, if it's hard for a trained worker, it's impossible for a customer at home.

I held the batch. The factory reworked the bracket design — chamfered edges, wider bolt holes, smoother strut engagement. Re-test passed cleanly. 120 sets shipped with corrected hardware and updated instructions.

A buyer consolidating PP resin chairs and bedding sets into one 40HQ. The forwarder's plan left 8 CBM of void space. I drove to the yard and supervised the load myself.

Cartoned chairs brick-stacked and strapped at the front. Bubble-wrapped chairs filled side gaps. Bedding bags compressed into ceiling voids. Container TCLU 883856 loaded to 74.8 CBM — 97.9% utilisation. Zero damage at destination.

A US event-rental company ordered 500 white resin folding chairs. Factory declared G.W. 5.2 kg per carton. The scale read 2.100 kg — less than half.

The frame was thinner-gauge resin than approved, and seat cushions had indentation creases from compression in underpacked boxes. I rejected the batch. Factory replaced pads with higher-density foam and added corner support blocks. Re-inspection passed at 4.35 kg N.W.

A Middle East event company ordered 300 transparent polycarbonate "ghost" chairs. Supplier quoted 5.5 kg per chair. The scale read 7.05 kg — 28% overweight.

Across 300 chairs, that's 465 kg of unbudgeted freight. Dimensions and acrylic quality were excellent — the chair was simply heavier than claimed. I reported the true weight before container booking. Buyer renegotiated freight and avoided a surprise charge.

A South American importer ordered 1,200 PP chairs across eight colours. Contract minimum: 3.2 kg per chair. I sampled two from each colour — 16 units total.

Every chair weighed 3.30 kg, dead even across all colours. Seat width 43 cm, back height 87 cm — no warping, no flash, no colour fading. Shipment approved.

A UK brand ordered 150 gold-plated wire-rod table bases. Factory QC said "pass." I tilted one toward the sun — the top mounting ring had rust bleeding through the gold plating at weld points.

Out of 20 sampled, 14 showed the same defect. I rejected the batch. Factory stripped, sealed welds, and re-plated all 150 units. Re-inspected two weeks later — zero rust. Shipment approved.
